The Order Hardens Its Gates

Before more pathfinders take their oath, the Order has walked its own walls. This patch carries few new sights — its work is beneath the stones, so what stands may stand for many.

⚠️ This update asks a fresh install

The Order has re-forged the seal that marks the app as truly ours. A stronger seal cannot be placed over the old one, so the in-app update will not do this time:

1. Uninstall Outdare from your device.
2. Reinstall it from downloads.outdare-game.com.
3. Sign in as before — your pathfinder, progress, items, and standing are kept safe on the Order’s side. Nothing is lost.

One small toll, paid once.

New in this patch

• Whispers carried by the Order — direct messages between pathfinders now travel through the Order’s own hands, the same way the Hearth speaks: unkind words are turned away at the gate, and no voice may flood another’s ear.
• The terms of the road, made plain — the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy now stand on this site, and the app links to both. In Settings you will also find the way to ask the Order to erase your account entirely, should you ever wish to leave without a trace.
• A sturdier keep — the Order’s records are now copied nightly and sealed away, and its watchtowers alert the keepers the moment the gates falter. You should notice nothing — that is the point.
