The Order Grants Mercy

By The Order of the Unseen Way

Not every word taken up can be kept. The Order has learned mercy — and, while it was at it, learned to tell a bow from a staff.

New in this patch

  • Abandon a quest — a flag now sits beside each commission in your Ledger. Strike one quest from it and the slot frees at once, no penalty taken. The Order grants this mercy once an hour; it does not bank. And no — the same quest will not simply be offered back to you.
  • Scavenger lists rest one sight at a time — on checklist missions, a photograph the Order does not accept now rests only that sight for three minutes, and its button says so plainly. The rest of your list stays open — keep hunting the other wonders while one rests.
  • Your weapon, truly worn — a pathfinder who earned a bow no longer parades a staff. Bows, axes and blades each hang on your figure as themselves.
  • Relics in their own colors — the satchel no longer paints your finds head-to-toe in their rarity’s hue. The art shows wood as wood and steel as steel; the rarity now lives in a solid border around each square, and what you wear carries a quiet mark.

The gates, simpler

The way in is now the way in: outdare-game.com/beta offers the download the moment you arrive — no writ required. Leave your name only if you want tidings by raven, or word the day the iOS gate opens.

Walk well, pathfinder.
