Patch24 July 2026
The Herald's Sprint
By The Order of the Unseen Way
The Order’s heralds have always been the swiftest among us — word must outrun rumor, and a writ that arrives after the bell is only paper. From today, the quest-giver offers their trials to every pathfinder: Sprint quests.
New in this patch
- Sprint quests — run X meters in Y seconds. A new quest category at every rank, from Novice to Master. Easy sprints yield to a light jog; the hardest ask for a herald’s true pace. Your strides are counted by your phone’s own step sense — no location is ever read.
- Pocket the phone and run. Lock the screen, tuck it away, and go — your strides still count. Come back before the hourglass empties (or shortly after) and the Order tallies your run fairly.
- A timer with honor. Each attempt is sealed with the Order before you set off, and only a run finished within its window is accepted. Failed the clock? Catch your breath and try again — attempts are free.
- The pace-keeper. While you run, the app tells you whether you are on pace or need to push — and shows your meters gained toward the goal.
Update to 1.4.0 to see Sprint commissions appear among your quests. Android pathfinders: the app will offer the update itself; iPhone pathfinders will find the new build on TestFlight.
Walk well — and this once, run well, pathfinder.
